The intention is that this coin finds its way from Bruges to Santiago de Compostela and vice versa. It may visit as much of this planet as possible, a superlong Camino would be very nice. It's just the coin of course, Santiago's statue stays in Bruges and they will be hopefully reunited after the coin's wanderings.
The Camino de Santiago is not one itinerary but consists of several routes, the Camino Francés being the best known, and they often follow the track of old Roman roads. The "Via Brugensis" is a part of the Camino, going from Sluis in Zeelandic Flanders over Bruges, Courtray (Kortrijk) and Dornick (Tournai, Doornik) and further on, ending in Sebourg, in the North of France. It would be a good start for our little geocoin to explore this part of the Camino first.
A modest little coin on an interesting pilgrimage. Let's see what happens! The "Via Brugensis" is a part of the Camino, going from Sluis in Zeelandic Flanders over Bruges, Courtray (Kortrijk) and Dornick (Tournai, Doornik) and further on, ending in Sebourg, in the North of France.
