For now this lovely coin will travel with me and it will remind me of my special friendship with Rachel (Markandra) and the fun we have!
This beautiful Celtic Knot geocoin is one of a pair. I gave one to my best caching buddy Rachel (Markandra) when she found her 2000th cache, Jonah's Journey at Froggatt Edge in the Peak District. I gave it to her at the cache site when she found the box after we (Rachel, Mark, Ellie, Godfrey and me, and 3 geohounds Jess, Stella and Charles) spent a long time searching for right place to go in - if you haven't been there, read all about it on the website! The Celtic Knot is a symbol of friendship and we met on the moor near Widdop Reservoir quite by chance when I was finding my 100th cache in November 2011, and have had great caching fun together ever since. The other coin is mine and for now it will only travel with me.
