Checked this coin out at the 6th principal meridain meet at Mahaska.

I had the chance to see this coin at the 150th Anniversary of the 6th Principal Meridian event in Mahaska, KS. Not only did I see it, my wife was the winner of the coin. So I can touch it and make googly eyes at it all day.

When she won it a cacher came up and said, "Do you know what that coin is worth?" To which I replied, "Its weight in gold." And he proceeded to tell us about how one sold for $250 on ebay.

My wife, all 4'11" and 100 lbs of her, decided to hand me the coin until after the event.
