Today was a movie night. We saw all those wonderful movies that geocachers made about caching. Well not all of them, just the 16 which were voted to be the best. We briefly saw Insektenfreund Patrick & Roger, but later said goodbyes to Lola & IKT-Bär. They will continue their journey with merenner and will explore Pennsylvania.
This means that starting tonight I will spend my time only with Foxy. I like her a lot. She is fun and takes good care of me. But I do miss my parents, Carla and Christiane. Hope to see you again.

After the early visit in the coffee shop we took the ride to Boston. It was quite busy due to rush hour but we made it in in 2 hours. We parked at the Boston Commons again and started on the Freedom Trail. We stopped at few new virtuals: Paul Revere House, USS Constitution and the Bunker Hill Monument.
We do recommend the Freedom Trail if you visit Boston.

Early morning trip to local Dunkin Donuts to meet with the real hardcore cachers. Who else would go to an event at 4:30am. We said goodbyes to Levi East and Flash here. They are continuing their journey with marcipanek's friend caseyhraymo. You had a chance to meet him during your event in Portland.
We're not sure how about you, but we are tired. And we are going to Boston again once we get back with Foxy, marcipanek and his family. Enjoy your day!

After stopping at the mallard family, we all had a lunch in infamous "By Chloe" vegan restaurant. TV chef and founder Chloe Coscarelli and her partner, mega-hospitality company ESquared started this hit vegan fast casual chain, but later got into a legal battle and she left the company. Unfortunately Chloe lost the battle and the company is allowed to use her name; eventhough, she isn't a part of it anymore.
We stopped at this second new virtual geocache, which celebrates the Boston sister city Kyoto, Japan. We had to project a waypoint to find these street lights, which the same as the one in Kyoto. It was getting dark and the light came on when we arrived here.
We're thinking of you!

Today we went with marcipanek and his family to Boston, MA. We parked at Boston Commons and walk to this beautiful set of statues, which commemorates a beautiful children's story by Robert McCloskey. It's of mother mallard and her eight ducklings. Several of the ducklings were stolen and returned on numerous time since the installment of this statue. It is very cute and we all enjoyed hanging out with mother mallard for a while.
Hope you will have a chance to see it one day when you visit Boston. We miss you!

WOW! Today we got spooked! marcipanek took us to the park in Portland where four of his Holiday Wherigos are and there were pumpkins carved into a scary heads. They call these Jack-O'-Lanterns. It was a little competition between the cachers, who carves the scariest and the best self-portrait one. The 2 winners got a box of Reber chocolates marcipanek brought from Europe.
At the end of the event we had to say goodbye to Roger and Insektenfreund Patrick, which will travel now with marcipanek's friend Yukionna. She will take good care of them, but still it was sad.
Hope your day was as spooky as ours.
