Mercury needs to always be on the move when he's in our world. He's a runner for the Gods, always delivering messages anywhere and everywhere.
Mercury was the god of travellers for the ancient Romans. He was also the messenger for the Roman and Greek Gods. He had a winged hat and sandals, so he could fly. He carried a staff with two snakes winding around it.
