This coins current mission is be discovered by my geo-buddies at various events, or while geocaching.
I earned this coin as part of a challenge (GC1987P) I heard about while at an event on June 13, 2008 (GC1CWMF). My son told me he wanted to earn the challenge coin before leaving for his basic training in the Army. A few days later, on June 21st, I'd accomplished the challenge with halftrack guy at an amazing cache.
This coin means a great deal to me for a few reasons. First, I really had to challenge myself and get past fears that have held me back for most of my life. Second, some wonderful friends came to watch and cheer me on to the finish. Third, I did it with my son, halftrack guy, and made a great memory!
