Riding my JEEP to the top of the hill
I grab tight to my wheel and shout,
"LOOK AT ME WORLD"!
Never to change my ways again
I have developed
the love of Jeep-Geo-Cachin'.
Whether land, air or sea
travel mode's up to me
for in JEEP I now travel
at high velocity.
I glide over rocks and sail over streams
I never allow the "short route" to stop me
My GPS'r is attached to my dash
as my Jeep 4x4 does it's almighty dance.
"Go forth to the right"... not a road/path in sight
I laugh at the terrain that thinks it has spite.
Regardless of briers, poison ivy or danger
Geocache is the game, and I am its player.
My family, they say I've gone out of my mind
with this hunt for the cache and the amount of time
that it takes to develop the perfect cache find.
But the prize of adventure and achievement are mine!
So as we grow older and find that our paths
are often not covered with gravel but grass
we may want to keep this idea of age
at a far away distance and enjoy every stage.
So I thank you JEEP and Geocache
for the fun of the game,
for the added adventure you give to terrain.
For the chance to allow this fine dream to come true
and for enhancing the life of a once Caravan crew.
