I first encountered 2869 Jeep TB a few weeks ago. It was my first jeep TB find. The day happened to be 9-11-04, three years after I drove a yellow 4x4 rented from Hertz from Atlanta GA to Hoboken NJ as a result of the 9-11 event. I lived in Jersey City at the time and was on a business trip when the news broke that day. I ended up driving home passing by the Penatgon first, then to Jersey City, across the Hudson River from the World Trade Towers. I'll never forget that week. But the yellow 4x4 is following me I see! It saved me (by bringing me home safely) before. Now can it bring me luck in this contest for desparately replacing my vehicle which has 116k miles?
You see, the day that I found this Jeep TB (2869) on 9-11, I placed it the same day in my Secret Garden Cache in Washington DC, where my parents live. Then a cacher brought 2869 to my cache in Vienna Va, where I live! Cache Windsong. Little did I expect that I would cross its path again today on 10-3-04. It appeared in Kousin of koz's kids kache ! one of the new few cache's that I haven't been to since moving to Virginia having claimed finds at most of the caches within 20 miles radius of DC. Well, Now, it's back in my cache in DC. I placed it back in the Secret Garden for all to enjoy the hunt find, and magical good luck it seems to bring.
