NEW MISSION: Nach dieser langen Reise ist es nun an der Zeit, wieder zurück in die heimatlichen Gefilde zu ziehen. Das Ziel ist "Altes Germering - Oberer Moosbach" (GC1DNGQ). ~~~~~~~~~ After travelling around such a long time, it's now up to you sending this coin back home. home-cache is "Altes Germering - Oberer Moosbach" (GC1DNGQ).
The first italian geocoin is a project where 13 italian cachers/teams are involved (Kingfisherteam, Barafondateam, Leo99, kdv, cmauri, kazuma,itamagellano, ilboss, ge nicogiorgi, i5fzi, vericol, rottonara and kirkadore). The front of the coin (design by rottonara, ilboss and kingfisherteam) shows Galileo Galilei, one of the most important italian scientists. The sentence "EPPUR SI MUOVE" (And yet it does move) is a quotation from Galilei, after it had to swear off its thesis on pressure of the church. The back side (design by kirkadore) shows Italy in the flag-colors surrounded by the EU-stars.
