About This Item

Ikarus the Invader

Ikarus is an Invader...but if we help him get home he will reconsider the invasion of Earth. He crashed on my street when his jet-powered hover board ran out of juice, and asked me to help him get home, while viewing the beautiful landmarks of earth.

Grab It (Not from a Cache) 3/19/2005 Snuva grabbed it   Visit Log

After an abosolute stunning trip around Tasmania (as all trips around Tassie are!), Ikarus is off across the pond later this week. He hopes to land in the Quicksilver Travel Bug Hotel so he can continue his adventures in the USA!

Retrieve It from a Cache 2/27/2005 Horus retrieved it from Tumor Pi Tasmania, Australia   Visit Log

Found the little critter in the cache, not sure if he was trying to "phone home" or something similar using the nearby "dishes". Will try to get him closer to his goal in the next couple of weeks, I know someone that is heading to the US and he might be able to hitch a ride with her.

He is a mean looking critter and if he needs fuel for his rocket skate board then I suggest a few Boags premium will send him into orbit. In the meantime I will let him tour with us in our rocket ute to keep him in practice.

As we were going past, I thought that Ikarus would not like to miss a quick trip to Tassie. This is a not-to-be-missed place even if you are on your way to Cape Canaveral.

Retrieve It from a Cache 1/11/2005 Robmc retrieved it from Killer Punch Victoria, Australia   Visit Log

After asking nicely to be on the move again, we retrieved Ikarus from the spectular views of Killer Punch (well the inside of a plastic jar, actually). He is presently in Melbourne, but will be loose again soon.

  • Ikarus has traded mountain views for this!
Retrieve It from a Cache 12/26/2004 sbalogh53 retrieved it from Boulder-Dash Victoria, Australia   Visit Log

Poor Ikarus the Invader has been sleeping at the Boulder-Dash cache for more than 2 years. I decided to make it my mission to retrieve him from this remote location and allow him to continue on his travels.

  • Fly, Ikarus, fly! Away from this remote mountain!
