After a very long and emotional Sunday, I decided that I would take my last day off and push myself to get out a bit more than I have been in the past two weeks. Waking up was once again near impossible, but once I did finally get out, I had to run two errands around town and after that decided I would return to the park Cibulka, where I’ve had my eye on a little loop and finishing up some unfinished business here. I had a nice loop in mind during which I visited all the stashes I intended to, and over one hour walked about 3.6 kilometers. Since I parked nearest a challenge cache, it was the first one I intended to visit, and after stopping at the train station for one lab, I made my way here on a pretty sketchy and uncertain path… well it wasn’t a path, but I managed to cross somehow. I then huffed up the little hill and towards GZ, where I was quite in awe of the container itself. After signing the logbook and accepting a pretty neat challenge, I decided that it was finally time to say goodbye to the Golem GeoCoin. We’ve had it for waaaaaay too long, scared to put it in the right cache where it wouldn’t get stolen, and one which fit nicely with the Prague theme. I decided that this lovely D5 cache would be a good place to say goodbye; it’s in a nice park in Prague, with a cache dedicated to the beautiful mountains of this country.
We had some awesome times together; traveled to Portugal and back on six different airplanes, and visited amazing places and caches. We had a great time together and we hope we helped give you some kilometers and bring you to Prague, where you can travel for some time. Safe travels & happy we got to meet you!
