Current Goal

Dukie is a pretty wide ranging traveler having hiked several states from Massachusetts to Colorado, but he can't get everywhere as Daddy has to work most of the time. So, Dukie is sending out this travel bug to meet other pups and see their homes. Please post a photo of your dog and what he likes to do on a daily basis.

Dukie is a Swedish Vallhund, born Dec 17, 1999. He loves to play with the wildlife in his yard, Deer, Rabbits, Squirrels, and Chipmonks. What kind of wildlife does your pup play with?

Dukie's friends Sammy, Max, Midnight, and Lucy all love to get together and play. An independant pooch that love to give kisses - Dukie would love to meet you.

About This Item

A laminated photo of Dukie with instructions on the back is attached to the travel bug. This is Dukie about 2 years ago. He hasn't changed except that his muzzle is starting to show grey. He's also easier to pose now! (^_^)

    My son and I are new at this, and this was our second cach found. So glad to have found the bug! Dukie has been many places, and met many dog friends. Only 1 cat and one rabbit friend so far. I have 5 cats that all met Dukie! My fat one Chase played with him for a bit, then my kitten Snowy sat on the steps with him. Then Snowy and his mom checked him out! I am a surgery technician for a vet, and and going to take Dukie with me to work to meet lots of dogs and cats! Will be sending him on soon! Love meeting him and seeing where he has been!

    [red][B]Unfortunately the Dukie's Search TB is no longer in the A Life Well Lived: Poppy's Treasures cache.[/B] Based on the logs of that cache, it hasn't been there since at least May 3, 2010. This should be moved to unknown location by selecting "Mark Item Missing" at the upper right of the travel bug page. If it is found, being in the unknown location will not affect the ability of the cacher to log it. MVP, PLP
