Boudreaux the Alligator

Boudreaux wants to explore the best caches in Canada, and learn about his Acadian heritage in the process.

Boudreaux the Alligator ( I think he is REALLY a crocodile, but I’m certainly not going to argue that with him) normally sits on top of my computer monitor at work, and has occupied that position for at least 7 or so years.

Boudreaux recently became fascinated with the landscape of Canada while I was planning my last canoeing trip in Algonquin, and has decided that he would like to go explore Canada for himself. Please feel free to take Boudreaux with you as you hike the Canadian Rockies, explore glaciers, visit the prairies, canoe the Boundary waters, trip in Algonquin, or even just visiting Horton’s for coffee. After Boudreaux spends some time visiting your favorite places in Canada, he would like to end his trip by exploring his Acadian heritage.

Hannah and Collin, my children, are both very young right now (8 and 4). They thought that it would be a great idea if they could watch Boudreaux travel around and explore new areas of Canada, hence, the current mission that Boudreaux has.

That said, Boudreaux expects to "tour" through Canada for 4 or so years, and in the process, visit some really cool places. Make sure you take lots of pictures. Perhaps Hannah and Collin would want to visit your favorite spot too. The kids will be watching his progress as he makes his way up through the USA and throughout Canada.....seeing the adventures he has on his way to his final destination of Nova Scotia. When Boudreaux is ready to come home, we will travel there to pick him up from NS.
