This is my personal geocoin. It will travel with me from cache to cache. This coin says it all so well - may the stars of all of our servicemen and servicewoman remain blue. Unfortunately, with Iraq I know 26 families who now have gold stars. I will forever be greatful for their self sacrifice to this country. I will let special friends share the icon with the discovery of the coin.
UPDATE: On Nov 30, 2007, my nephew was killed by an Improvised Explosive Device in Baqubah, Iraq. No words can convey how painful it is, when your star turns from Blue to Gold. Rest in peace, you personified the warrior spirit and were the epitome of the MP Corps. You led by example, no one could ask anymore. You will never be forgotten and will forever remain my hero. I know you two Corporals are together raising "holy dickens". Rest In Peace.
