For many years our family has had a thing for travelling pigs. Long before geocaching was invented the family's travelling pig went along whenever a family member was travelling anywhere. As a result the family pig has travelled extensively and has reached six continents at last count. Our pig loves to be photographed doing athletic activities such as scuba diving, sky diving, sailing, skiing, etc. He particular enjoys family gatherings at weddings, birthdays and holidays. He doesn't like to be left out of anything. We hope our Travel Bug Pig will enjoy similar good times and be photographed wherever he goes.
Our original travelling pig was a large rubber pig suitable for suitcase travel, not being deposited into a cramped geocache. We found this miniaturized version and will send him on his way with high hopes for a fabulous adventure. Travelling Pig disappeared in a looted cache in South Carolina. So I turned him into a virtual pig. You may log him anytime you find him.
