Current Goal

I started out in Spokane, Washington through a contact made by my owner in central Idaho. I sure would like to make a trip back out to Idaho and Washington. My #1 destination would be Elk City, Idaho. I'd like to visit other mining areas around the country such as Montana, California, Idaho, and Colorado.

About This Item

Belt Buckle Bug No. 2

This is a heavy-duty belt buckle that originated from a precious metals exploration drilling company. I got it from one of the drilling crew whom I worked with one summer in a remote part of central Idaho.

Nice to see these older travel bug tags alive and well. Mining? Maybe off to Maine where in western Maine it's tourmaline they mine for jewelry.

Fryler convinced me to grab a few of his TB/Coins at the GeoMeet. I like to swap TB's, so... Will move this toward northeastern Mass. ASAP. Is there any mining done in Mass? Well, LOTS of sand and gravel "mining" in Plymouth, that's for sure!!
