Current Goal

To travel all over this great country, sharing with everyone, just how great it is,to be an American!
Please feel free to add something to my keychain,or to my notebook.
Let's all take the time to show,or tell, how great it is to be AMERICANS!!!

I would like to return to my starting cache,"Yankee Doodle Ditti",in Deer Park,Newport News,Va.,by July 4,2006.I will then be presented to my owner's brother, who had a long career, and retired from the Navy. He is losing his sight, and being able to see all the patriotism that comes with me, before his sight is completely lost, will mean alot to him.

About This Item

I am the very symbol of America's pride and strength. I am being released during this election year.(2004)
As you hold me,think of all that we,as Americans, have been through, and still remained united and strong!
FEEL THE PRIDE!!!

This cache seemed appropriate for a TB named American Pride to visit. Weather was perfect, river was low, scene from the bridge was a typical lazy summer day. We rested on the banks and then gathered the troops to head to another cache.

If I have an opportunity to place it around here soon I will. Otherwise American Pride will be taking a trip to South Dakota on the 26th. It didn't look as though she had seen that part of our great country. We'll be meeting up with family and celebrating my brother-in-law's recent retirement from the Army!

MooseMaMa incurred a line of duty injury and probably won't be caching for a bit...so I grabbed this one back to place it today.

I too served the Good Old USA, first in the US Air Force as a C-130 Crew Chief, and then I "cross-serviced" to the US Navy and served as a Cryptographic Equipment Repairperson. I met 2Wheel'in during an assignment to the Defense Intelligence Agency...and we've been making history together every since 😁 Grateful to live in and serve this wonderful nation. I added a USPS Commemorative Stamp Tag "Women in our Armed Services", and will get the American Pride TB placed very quickly.

Grabbed "American Pride" from Nittany Lady today at Hangover at Sunrise. She knew I would be delighted to add to the TB and we agreed to meet at that cache so I could grab it. I served 30 years in the US Air Force and retired in 1994 as a CMSgt. With 23 tours throughout the States and overseas, I was proud to serve this wonderful country. I added a Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Service/ID badge to the TB, made a log book entry, and passed it to MooseMaMa...who has her own story. (Photos to follow).

Picked this up from Bring the dog, bring the kids. I am sure I have something to add to this TB after spending the better part of 2003 and some of 2004 in the Iraq.
