Meandering Moose

I found Meandering Moose in a Nebraska Sandhills cache. He seemed a bit out of place there. He joined some other cache refugees on my computer desk and it wasn't long until he was sneaking looks at Geocaching.com, learning about Travel Bugs, and starting to nag about becoming one. Since I was going to Alaska soon and there are a lot of guys like him up there I thought he should give it a try. So he got his tag and he will visit a cache or two in Nebraska to get his mileage started and then I'll release him up north. He just wants to travel about, see a lot of moose habitat and see other interesting places too. He will be glad to pose for photos.

Today was our family's first day of geocaching. We have been waiting for awhile while saving to get the GPS we wanted. So after an early father's day gift last night, we wasted no time. This was on our last find of the day (we found 4 out of 5.) I am glad we found him. We ahve something in common with Sir Moose...we have been to Alaska as well. So we have 2 different vacations coming up, one this month and one next....So, does he want to go North or south of Tennessee?

He was getting sick of this long colder and snowier than normal New Brunswick winter so he volunteered for the moose introduction program. He won't exactly be going to good moose habitat but there will be plenty of beach for him to browse on.
