Current Goal

This is one of three sports cars on a cross-country race from one corner of the US to the other three. I am trying to get to southern California or Arizona and back to a Bangor, Maine cache before my buddies finish their goals (Bangor Racer '67 GTO – destination Washington state and back to Bangor) and (Bangor Racer Porsche 928 – destination Florida and back to Bangor). If you take me, please don’t park me somewhere as I am in a HURRY! Thanks for your help in driving me towards my goal.

Write note 8/5/2005 Bucky & McGee posted a note for it   Visit Log

8/13 - Finally getting around to posting comments and a pic for this. A seperate Email is going to all participants who had a hand in this successful event. August 5, our daughter's birthday, marked the checkered flag day for the Porsche. We had a lot of fun with this, and met some great people along the way. Thanks everybody!

  • Porsche 911 and Big Brother at the Finish Line Look closely on the fender of the "big" Porsche. There is 911, finally crossing the finish line in Maine, where Sudonim (Andy) accepts his prized car back from Team Bucky & McGee (Russ) after thousands of miles of cross country racing. Almost sorry it's over.....we had LOTS of fun with this one!
Grab It (Not from a Cache) 8/5/2005 Sudonim grabbed it   Visit Log

We have a winner!!! The Porsche 911 won the race on August 5th, 2005. Bucky & McGee gave me the handoff in Ellsworth. We exchanged pictures and TBs and had a good time. The Porsche is changing missions now. It wants to travel the globe and enjoy the scenery.
