I want to be moved from the tougher caches to the even harder caches. I thrive on confusion and trivia.

    Travel Bug resurrected!

I have to start with a sincere apology. I should have never taken this. Back when I did, I knew about geocaching, but didn't know all the rules. Excuses aside, here is an explanation of this TB's last couple years:

First, this was not found in the Sun Top cache. My friends and I found this on 6/21/2009 (no idea how long it was here). We were camping on the Bumping River and we drove up to a lookout called Raven's Roost. The TB was in a cache up there called "NW Jeepn3 Raven's Roost." Since I wasn't geocaching yet, we must have just stumbled upon this cache randomly.

When we found the cache, I knew that in geocaching people typically took something out, then left something of equal or better value. That is what I thought we were doing, but I should have realized that something like a Travel Bug might work a little differently.

I started officially geocaching in July of 2011. Last night I was going through a box of camping stuff and found this Travel Bug. Knowing all the rules now, my heart sank when I realized how long I've had this. Hopefully it makes for a good story and people can forgive me for my ignorance 2 years ago! 👎

I am camping again this weekend and will take this with me to place somewhere. I promise I won't wait another 2 years to log its new location!

After an Epic Road Trip across the country, this TB has landed in Washington State! The Skagit Fall Fest is not a difficult cache at all: no confusion or trivia. It IS, however, an excellent conduit to get this TB to attend an Epic Hike soon.

It may wander a bit lost for a few days, but have faith. We have a plan. 🙂

    Hi Sickticket.
What a bizarre item this thing is! What the heck is it??

I will do my best to place it in a difficult cache soon.

(By the way, Spoon! did not mention that it took him 3 tries to find My Name is Mud! 🤭 )
