Paddington's mission is just to travel around and visit other caches, and bring a smile to fellow Geocachers. It would be great if he could visit other states, or even other countries, but Paddington would just like to visit as many caches as possible.

Paddington Bear is a cute little bear that was popular in stories and TV (http://www.paddingtonbear.co.uk/). This little Bear was given to me as a gift, oh, probably around 15 to 20 years ago. Being a world traveler, I thought it would be neat to send him on a Geocache trip.

Wow, in just a little over a year Paddington has traveled 2,768.2 miles! Funny that he should arrive in Pennsylvania, as that is where we moved from. Thanks to all of you for taking such good care of him, and for taking time to post pictures. He looks like he's having a great time!

We received a letter from Paddington today. He told us he was really enjoying his trip, and meeting all the wonderful people along the way. Thank you for taking such good care of him. To date he's gone nearly 8,000 miles - can you believe it. I would also like to thank those who've taken pictures of him. It's nice to see that he's still in such good condition! Happy travels Paddington.

We've received notice that Paddington is back on the road again. This little guy is now around 25 years old. In less than nine years, he has traveled 9,444.7 miles thanks to his fantastic Geocaching family members! However, he's spent six of those years loafing around. We know he's sooo cute that you just want to keep him around, but please try to send him along his way after giving him a short respite - he needs to spread more smiles.

I guess Paddington has gone AWOL again since I haven't seen an update in 5 years. Too bad, he was making such good progress.

WooHoo! We're very happy to see that Paddington is once again taking his ambassadorship seriously. We really need to speak to him about these three year hiatuses though - we worry about him when he drops of the grid for so long 🙂. Thank you for getting him back on the job!

Thank you lmweeks for posting Paddington's bail bond! He must have been a really bad bear - he has been imprisoned for over 3 years. We were quite distraught when he was incarcerated in some unknown location. We had given up on him; just assuming that he was in permanent hibernation. Since he does have sentimental value (as well as being an ambassador for Geocaching), we are extremely grateful for your intercession on his behalf. We wish you all the best in your future hunts!
