Alaska has way too many mosquitoes, so the original mission of this coin -- launched in Alaska -- was to go as far away as possible from Alaska. The coin found its way into my parents' hands in Texas, and is now needing to find it's way BACK to Alaska. Can you help it along?
Finally, a geocoin to commemorate Alaska's state bird -- the mosquito! Enjoy this great micro geocoin, but do keep it moving so you don't get bitten!

Will move it a little farther away!
We love to hate the skeeters! Thanks for sending this to Texas. Now we have too many skeeters after recent heavy rains!
Found this at a cache.
We picked up this mosquito while visiting friends in Alaska and brought it back to Tesas, no mosquitos here. Since we had 19 inches of rain in one night the mosquitos are having a hay day. I hope someone picks it up and moves it on somewhere dry. This coin is now located in Marble Falls high on a hill away from flooding.
We grabbed this little bug in the fog this morning, took him back to sealevel, then found some friends heading back to Texas who wanted to carry him with them. So, Tara, we cleared this skeeter out of Alaska. We hope you see him again!
