Current Goal

The mission of this postcard is to travel to caches in all 50 states before returning home to the Butterfield Card Cache at N 40 29.544 and W 122 06.951 in Utah.
Has visited at least 18 states, including: Arizona,
California, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

About This Item

Try to leave the postcard in a popular cache to keep it moving (near major highways or airports). Also record the date it entered a new state on the postcard itself with the accompanied marker (please replace as needed). And of course, log its journey on groundspeak. Uploaded pictures of the journey along the way are a big bonus!

It was like reuniting with a long lost friend upon finding my travel bug while on a road trip in Nevada! A little wear and tear, the pen and bag were no longer with the bug, but all in all, in pretty good shape after being away for a year and a half.
Will get him prepared again for another long journey and drop him off shortly.
Thanks to all those that have helped him along his way so far, and to those that will be in the future!

I found it in "Clio@ C road" cache near Portola, Ca. so it deserves about 2000 more miles from the cache it was last in! It's now in my hands in Reno, Nv

The postcard came with my wife and me to Hawaii. After a CNF at Pennsylvania Wanderers, we chose Kauai's best near Kapa'a to leave the bug. This cache is easy to get to, and frequently logged, so the bug should be on it's way again soon. Actually left in the cache on September 24, but just got home to log it yesterday.

  • Nene on Kauai Go to pick up the travel bug and you just might find Hawaii's endangered state bird. They are all over at the refuge by the light house up north of this location.
