About This Item

This bug is a toy Alaska Airlines airplane. DGH of Team H2 works for Alaska. Team H2 had it in our possession, placed it in the Fremont Saddle cache, retrieved it two days later and decided it would make a good TB. Now we have started it on it's journey by seeding it in Team H2's first cache, H2 Lakeview. Please help the little fellow along on his way. Thanks! Team H2.

We stopped by Ilisagvik College (the former Naval Arctic Research Laboratory) (see: http://www.ilisagvik.cc/ for more details) in Barrow to look at some of the research displays (and to find the cache Bowhead, located just outside!).

We stopped by the cache a little after 3 p.m. local time, and it was about -3.6 degrees C when we made the find.

THIS TRAVEL BUG HAS PHYSICALLY BEEN TO THE MOST NORTHERLY CACHE IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Had just enough time to visit this virtual cache on our way to Fairbanks International to catch our flight. We'd stopped by to see Santa's House in North Pole, Alaska in the summer; this was our first stop to see the place in the winter.

We stopped long enough to take a few pictures and to see the reindeer that are nearby.
