Well, I was dropping off some kids for a dance in the area and I figured I would spend the time grabbing some caches instead of driving home and only having a half hour before I had to drive right back to Poway. I had Driver Jim, StarB and TinaV with me and they were all up for the adventure. I usually can't stand going for urban caches because I have no patience and can't handle the pressure of muggles. The advantage of having DriverJim with me is that none of that stuff phases him and he is a champ at spotting even the best cammo'd container. Night time was a great time to be looking for this cache. We had to figure out the right approach. We relied on past logs for some helpful info. but still it took us about 20 minutes of the four of us searching before DriverJim made the find. I was ready to give up after 10 minutes. We were using flashlight apps on our phones to search and I am surprised that none of the many cars that passed us pulled over to see if we needed assistance. You may as well start walking if you ever break down in this neighborhood. but of course, that worked out well for us cachers! We were hoping no one WOULD stop. This cache is a good one. Nicely done. No risky terrain involved. But we didn't figure that out till we took several trips up and down the slope that was quite slippery after the rain. Only StarB lost her footing. Luckily it was a soft landing. We had a good laugh especially since it was her second time on the ground that night! She also fell at a tranquility cache when she stepped in what she thought was a shallow puddle which turned out to be a pot hole instead! I guess you aren't really night caching unless somebody falls down!
