ILikeHistory is now staying near a famous historical grave on a historical graveyard.
Except from several graves dating from the end of the 17th century there's a grave called "Het graf met de handjes" (The grave with the hands).
This grave is very famous because it concerns a man and a woman of two different religions (protestant and roman catholic) who were prohibited to e burried at the same part of the graveyard.
Therefore their graves have been put against two sides of the wall separating the catholic from the protestant part and from both stones a hand is stretched out over the 2,50 meter high wall to meet the other hand.
This way they can keep contact for eternity.
Greetz and have a good journey, Bloodwoosj
Wil try to find a picture in my archive showing the hands.
