Key-Ring Kate2 (F1)

Key-Ring Kate2 was under lock and key at her own cache in Wilton, Connecticut. If you have Kate, it's because a geocacher managed to release her to start her journey, Give Kate some space, she most probably has been locked up for some time. Hopefully, while in your possession, she will be able to open some doors for you. At her release, she had no keys attached. If you have an old key that you don't use, please attached it to the chain before you place her in another cache. When you log Kate, state if you added a key and how many she is currently carrying. AN AMAZING STORY: Key-Ring Kate2 went missing (Gone Dark) on March 11, 2006. It appears that a cacher placed Kate in a new cache that was never published on Masonic Island near Bottineau, North Dakota. On August 2, 2008, I received an e-mail from Team Sioux advising me that they found the abandoned container while looking for a spot to place a new cache. They removed the TB, and now the original Key-Ring Kate2 can continue her journey. Thanks Team Sioux for rescuing Kate from a fate worse than death .....rusting and rotting!!

NOTE: THE REPLACEMENT KEY-RING KATE2 IS STILL OUT THERE. IT APPEARS THAT IT IS ALSO MISSING! THE REPLACEMENT TB WAS LAST SEEN ON APRIL 1, 2007 IN "COLA'S CACHE AT PERRY MILL POND" IN CONNECTICUT. IF YOU HAVE THE DUPLICATE TB WHICH MAKES A REFERENCE TO THE TV SERIES "24" AND NOTES THAT THE ORIGINAL KATE HAS GONE DARK, PLEASE DO NOT LOG IT.
