The Red Rock Crab (Cancer Productus) is one of the common crabs in our waters. I can take this Blue Crab out to the coast where we have Puget Sound King Crabs but someone will have to take it North from there.

This isn't quite Alaska, but it is a whole lot closer than the middle of the prairies. Blue Crab's new home is less than a mile from the Pacific Ocean. A restaurant near by apparently is home to some Fresh Crabs. Out of respect for Maryland BC, we had coffee and garlic toast, no crab.

We are heading west for a few weeks, so we decided to give the Crab a lift to the West Coast. It will not be Alaska, but it'll be a lot closer.
