Current Goal

Wendell Wolf Badge's original owner, etrexable, requested that he be moved indoors. Wendell had been abandoned during darkness on a sign post in Northern California. Our goal for Wendell is that he recover from his stressful abandonment. He stayed attached to that cold metal post for 19 full days and nights. He deserves a trip someplace warm, and has hinted to us that he would like to see the Carribean.

About This Item

Wendell Wolf Badge In His Traveling Box

Wendell Wolf Badge's original owner requested that he be moved indoors. He was left abandoned on a sign post in Humboldt County, California, nearby the Cruisin The Van Duzen or Rolling on The River Geocache. The cache owners, NCFLYERS, discovered on 11-10-2001 that the Geocache had been stolen. Wendell is in store for a trip. Wendell Wolf Badge will begin his travels soon.

Ghost of Wendell

I recently visited The Kid Within, a geocache that was hidden in November 2001. Since the first Trackables were released in Summer 2001, Wendell must have been one of the first TBs released into the wild. The original logbook is still in the cache although the book had many pages torn out. ncflyers' log was the first entry still in the book although after spending a lot of time doing some maintenance on the cache I found the FTF log in the loose pages. I organized the pages as best I could, putting the parts of logbook #1 that were still intact with the other oldest pages, The rest of the loose pages in a second bag, and the current logbook and a new one that I dropped off in a third ziplock.

I found Wendell's id # when I read your log (see the pictures). It seems that Wendell didn't go terribly far in his travels but at least he's been discovered one last time.

Apparently poor little Wendell has gone AWOL again....No idea where he is, but for now will de-activate his travels.

Sorry for any inconvenience

Wendell Wolf is now high on a relic war ruin overlooking a beautful beach along the gulf coast. We thought it ironic to place him in a spot that was built as a defense against raids by the German sub wolf pack.
