Current Goal

Lewis & Clark Discovery Travel Bug is starting in South Dakota and wants to travel west along the Lewis and Clark Trail to somewhere near Fort Clatsop, Oregon. After reaching Ft. Clatsop he wants to go back to the begining point of the original Lewis and Clark Expedition - St. Louis, Missouri. After reaching St. Louis he wants to come back home to central South Dakota.

About This Item

This Travel Bug is in recognition of the 200th Anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It is a key chain and a tag which should help to keep track of it's destination. Once a destination is reached, it should be marked on the destination tag and sent on it's way to it's next destination. The original Lewis and Clark Expedition lasted about 28 months. Let's see how long this one takes.

Traded this TB for another. This travel bug seems to be far from it's intended goal, I will move it along quickly, but am not in a position to get it much closer to it's goal. Hope it finds it's way. Thanks for sharing your TB.

This travel bug is located in West Rim Treasure Cache (GC14A6). We left it in the cache since its goal is to get to Oregon and we were going the other direction.

This Travel Bug has been reported as being missing. Therefore, I have marked it as missing. It may turn up someday, and if that happens it can be put back in play simply by logging it. Or the copy can be released, (but don't delete any previous logs)

I recently found the Lynn Keller Trail Vista cache and this travel bug was not in it. I looked back in the log book to see if I could find when it may have been picked up and noticed that it was retrieved on Aug. 25th. Someone either did not log their visit or did not log that they took the bug from this cache.
