New mission: To find his owner his next job in California! Ok - so I found a job via a different mechanism this time, and will be moving to Grenoble, France soon. I'd still like to see if this TB can find someone in the startup industry either in the UK (Cambridge) or out in California (Silicon Valley).

A high level description of my profile, and what I'm looking for:
A Product Manager and Communications Systems Architect with 7 years of design experience, and 3 years as product manager for the market leading Metro DWDM transport product. Highly respected for personal drive, and for having the courage of his convictions. Skilled in detailed design with a grasp of the big picture. Has led teams from initial concept and system design through to implementation across photonics, long haul transmission, wireless and access, utilising IP, SDH and ATM. Technically excellent with strong business focus, and an ability to bridge the technical and commercial worlds.

I’m seeking a position as a Product Manager in a startup or early stage company, where I can use my skills to bring together diverse market requirements and a skilled design team to deliver new products, concepts, or services in order to grow revenue and reduce costs.

Ideally I'm looking for a start-up or early-stage business based in the Cambridge, London or California areas, but will consider moving anywhere I can geocache...
