The Red Cross contacted Sarge recently and told him he'd had better check in with his family. They made him sit down and write a letter to his dear mother and tell her he's been all right . . . just a bit "distracted." He thought he would send a note on to everyone at geocaching.com too. He's been having a lot of fun on leave. Well, maybe the pictures will show for themselves . . .

Sarge is on his way to Reno for some much needed "R & R" but before he makes the trip, we took him to the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Port Orchard, Washington, to pay his respect to some fallen heroes.

  • Sarge Among The Fallen After this somber visit, Sarge decided to toss back some beer and tacos and put his life's adventures in perspective. We are enjoying our time with Sarge, and will miss him once we hand him off in Nevada. Watch out, he kicked our butts at "Missionary" on the Game Cube.
