Take me with you on your European travels and photograph me at the great sites!
My biggest regret after backpacking the European region for 6 months after college was not taking a small stuffed animal that I could photograph at all the great sites. I didn't get the idea until after the trip, when I read the coffee-table book "The Red Couch" (Now THAT'S a travelbug!). I could have had pics of the travelbug at the Pyramids, Akropolis, Berlin Wall, the Coliseum, Notre Dame, Irish Castles, Stonehenge, and dozens of modern architectural masterpieces. In the next few weeks and months countless other american college students will be making the same rite of passage, and I'd like Piglet to tag along.
Now that I am married with a mortgage and job, my dreams of another European adventure will have to wait for many, many years, so I have to live vicariously through my travelbug. (Sad, I know) Since Piglet is the Pooh character that is the most afraid of anything new and unknown, I decided that Piglet was the one to make the trip.
I realize that there probably aren't too many college students who geocache, and probably even fewer who plan on doing it while traveling. (Although a gps would sure come in handy in Venice!) So I do not mind if you hand Piglet off to a non-geocacher who will be traveling, as long as they are kind enough to photograph Piglet on his/her/its adventures for me, and return him/her/it to you or another cacher when they return.
Keeping Piglet near college towns, while generally traveling east will probably be the best chance for success. Thanks for your help!
