To travel virtually with busternfruss for awhile. We saw the lighthouse on Tybee Island last year (summer of 2007), will post a picture! Special geocoin. Update 07/06/08: Staying home awhile now to wait for my twin's return home around this time next year. Following its travels closely, hope it returns safely.
Update 2012: My twin coin did return home safely after 3 1/2 years and 23,445 miles traveling out in the big geoworld! It may travel a little further to special caches with its owners before it permanently retires.
This is one of the Georgia 2007 geocoins, silver finish, shaped like the Tybee Island Lighthouse. Embossed "Tybee Island, GA" on reverse, with hiking cacher. Very pretty! Got the last three GaCacher had for sale--gave one to the good friend who got me into caching, keeping this one as a pet, and not sure what we'll do with the third one. Might give it a mission out in the real world; we'll see! B&F Addendum: We did release the third coin into the real geoworld to travel for a year and then return.

The owner showed this to me at the geo-101 event since she'd read that I enjoyed Tybee Island - which I did. We went during Memorial Weekend in 2008 and had a great time, got some caching in, too of course. The alligator restaurant I think is a must-do for visitors - we went too and it is indeed an unusual spot and well worth the wait. There is also an awesome place for breakfast right off the beach. Thanks for sharing the coin and reviving some great memories!

I've been to Tybee Island. We ate at a restaurant there that had a pond full of alligators! The decor of the place was quite unusual, and most of the tables were outside. The whole area is a neat place to go. Enjoyed discovering this coin.

I've got to see that light house at Tybee, looks cool. I found this coin at the 101 geocaching event and placed at the bottom of the cache, tied it with my one of my green shoe laces so it wouldn't fall out. TFTD< LZ33

First hide of caching pal Sus and first find with new GPS pal of Jonesy; found after returning from vacation in Destin. Neat container! We need to hide a few more out there in WesT's country.
Think I'll stay home awhile now with Buster's GA coin and wait for my twin to return home around this time next year. Hope it returns on time, will follow its travels closely.
