Current Goal

Tell others how you volunteer. If you don't volunteer, tell us about someone who does. This TB is a kind of tribute to those who help others. They can be Den Mothers, Teacher's assistants, Soup kitchen helpers, walkers who pick up garbage along their way. An act of kindness can go along way. I want this TB to give incentive to others, to give of their time, volunteering. It warms the heart. PICTURES are always welcome, with or without the TB or GPS.

Bear with his TB

Bear is my search and Rescue dog. He is my first K9 in this wonderful vocation. We live in California and do local work for two SAR groups. He is an "Area" dog, which means he will look in large sections for any person in it. I am fortunate to have such a healthy and hard working dog. This little bug has a Search and Rescue dog attached to the tag. I have cut it down to fit in most caches, including some micros/small containers.

PLEASE DO NOT PUT THIS TB IN CACHES, THAT DO NOT HAVE A LOT OF TRAFFIC. I want as many people to be touched by "BEAR".

Along with being a school teacher, I am very active in other capacities in the community where I teach. This includes working with the Boy Scouts, and volunteering with the various parent organizations in the school system.

Bears TB was standing ready while Mr. MaxB retrieved the Rock Lobster cache from Devil's Lake in Baraboo. Luckily his services weren't needed as everything went well.

Continues on with MaxB after a trip to Baraboo's Circus World Museum in Wisconsin.

  • Trapeze Act MaxB’s “A Three Ring TB Circus” Tour practiced their acts in hopes of becoming performers for the 2005 Summer season at The Circus World Museum in Baraboo, Wisconsin. 
Mickey the Tour guide perfecting his Ringmaster technique introduced the “Trapeze Act” including TB’s: Dog Buddies, Bears TB (First Aid Watch), Dory, Hot Seat, Aladin sane, Rogue Geocoin, Pixie Gree, Coke Prsche Racer, high in the air Travelin’ Sam, Lucky #7 Golfer, ABC TB and Ketchican or Bust.
  • At Circus World Museum Bears TB was disappointed that Circus World Museum had already booked the summer Big Top shows. He did enjoy the visit to learn about circus history and the Ringling Brothers.
