Bear Foot

This travel bug was launched into the world with the aim of traveling from Geocache to Geocache. Bear Foot wants to meet a lot of nice people. His goal is to see the tall mountains of the world and then return to his starter in Los Angeles some time after June 2003. As he visits with you please add a small souvenir to his chain- nothing too big.

Big foot's next cache does not have to be far from this one, but don't take him unless you will be able to place him in another real soon. He will begin to really Stink on you if he sits around too long. After June 2003 send him home to Los Angeles and notify his strater BladeCarver. We took Bear Foot along on our Mt. Rainier adventures. Second day we hiked 2000' up the White River to the bottom of the Inter Glacier. Third day we took an easy hike to Carter Falls and Madcap Falls, then later in the day took him to Sunrise and the Glacier Overlook. Logged him into this virtual cache to credit his travels. We are carrying him along on our further adventures in the Pacific Northwest. Di & Jim -team dmg

We took Bear Foot along on a hike up Mt Rainier and made it about 1/3 of the way up the Muir Snowfield stopping at around 7700' (half way up the mountain). The hike was a 2300' elevation gain from the trailhead. What a hike!

Saw the new TBs at Grand Central, so had to stop by and pick something up for the trip back to San Jose. Will find an appropriate high mountain for Bear Foot to visit and then continue on its adventure with others.
