Red Knight was looking at this geocoin while I came over to take a peak, during the Tri-State Treasures Eight event! Geocoins are my favorite trackables! I really like the militray ones that are dedicated in the memory of fallen soldiers. But by far, my favorite was a large geocoins called "Hamilton" (TBHMKW) that was named after the 1st Battalion, 5th Field Artillery which is the oldest regular army unit on active duty. They were led first in the Revolutionary War by Captain Alexander Hamilton (hence being called Hamilton's Own), the unit fought at Long Island, Trenton, Princeton, Brandywine, Germantown, Monmouth, Yorktown, and New York. After participating in the final victory at Yorktown, the unit was selected as the only Continental Army unit to remain on active duty status. This coin was released in Irag, by a members of the 1st Brigade while deplyed there in 2005. Cool stuff. Thanks for sharing this piece of geocaching history.

Saw this coin at the "Tri-State Treasures EIGHT! (GC4XZGB)" event. Luckily there wasn't a line, other than the food line, when we went to spot this coin. LoL
