Current Goal

Douglas Arachnid of Distinction no longer wants to be kept in dark and dusty places, but to travel amongst those of good taste. He wants to visit art galleries, museums, side walk cafes, places were people have gathered to share ideas and dreams.

About This Item

Douglas has been hidden away too long. He's off to see any and everything, both near and far. He'd like to be photographed with those that care enough to move him on to his next adventure.

Well, this Douglas spider is having a great time now, he is hanging around in our Stable built exclusively for Douglas horses and ponies. He may have gotten in to the champagne, though. If we can corral him in again, I'm sure we can find a good place for him.

I had a lot of fun with Douglas. Sorry I held him for so long, but I just had so much fun with him. From Geocoinfest onto lots of other caching adventures all over the place. We first found him at Gecoinfest, a mega event, which had lots of geocachers willing to share their opinions on geocoins and trackables. I happened to buy him a few friends at Geocoinfest. We brought him to our patio table, where we could eat and share ideas. (If it weren't 20 degrees outside now) Then, we brought him to Cabelas outdoor equipment and outfitters, in Rogers, MN, which had lots of people interested and sharing their ideas about their purchases.(Which was where the below picture was taken) Finally we brought him to a place which usually would have people sharing their adjectives about the umpires calls (a baseball field filled park) but was currently vacated due to a thing which happens for what seems like eight months of the year in Minnesota (winter). We had lots of fun with Douglas. We hope that you continue to travel. And good wishes to you!
