To visit the lakes and rivers of New Zealand, looking for those elusive fish - you know, the ones too small for a human sized dish but which tend to grow as the nights grow cold and the story is retold. If the diet is lacking, they might go packing - flying around the world.

Loved discovering this after a great hunt. Heading up to Rotorua soon so will probably drop it off there.

Found in Concrete evidence of signs of slipping and will seek to move this one, add some distance and pop it down somewhere near the water.
Thanks for the coin - it's a damn fine example I say.

yaho got it belted kingfisher 32 lives. my last ditch atempt to find this geocoin was to ring my cosin who works at folton hogan, I asked if he could talk to the workers that done the ground works, and he said that any thing that gets found would be on the work shop table. the next day I got a call from him to say that he had retreived the contence but not the container, this may have got smashed up.will place coin next time Im out caching.

I was emailed today my cache was a could not find(loop vew)so I went to check it out, and yes the council workers have had a meger proun back and clean up, and cache was not their so I went straight to the council office, explained geocacheing we rang through to the man in charge and he dose not have the container but will check with the other workers. I am guttered that the belted kingfisher has gone missing as I had planed to uplift it this weekend. the cache container had all the geocacheing information in it so hopefully it will surface somewere. other than that theres not much more I can do.

This looked a nice river to feed at (from what I could see in the dark). Certainly had an adventure (see cache log) 🙂
