Would like to travel to AUSTRAILIA. Please don't "collect" this coin. Let it stay in circulation for others to find! Please keep me out of events. Too many coins go missing at events so keep me in caches and moving quickly.
These coins were created to commemorate the cache GC10000 - A New Beginning which marked a significant milestone in the history of geocaching.com that took place on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 3:18am EST. This marked the end of the 6-digit geocaching.com waypoint ID and at the same time the start of the new 7-digit waypoint ID. GC10000 - A New Beginning has the honour of having the first 7-digit waypoint ID of GC10000.

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT !!!!!!
I am currently working on a puzzle cache GC5TZZY
This puzzle requires that I work out what a given binary code is
After lots of searches on the computer looking at different types of converters I still have no idea about how to solve this puzzle
I have a copy of 'How to puzzle cache' book by Cully Long and was reading up about the binary puzzle solving section
In the section on Base 31 it is explained that GC.com ran out of numbers for geocaches on December 2006 and had to change to Base 31
The last cache number in the old system was GC10000
Why am I telling you this?
Well I was also looking at puzzle caches in an area where I am planning to visit next month
In a cache I was looking at there is THIS geocoin listed in the inventory
I KNOW, AMAZING!!!!!
Anyway, seems your coin may have been stolen by a local 'parasite' (read this cache description)
and is no longer in the cache.
Hope it turns up and they catch the thief.
