San Juan Willie is from Friday Harbor Washington. His mission is to go to Andorra where we want to catch and release him. Once he has accomplished his mission, he wishes to go on traveling the world.
A few pictures of his journey would be nice!
San Juan Willie started his journey at Mitchell Bay on San Juan Island. A short distance from the path the Orca's take in the Summer when they feed. Since his release, we have moved from Mitchell Bay in Washington State, to Uruguay, and then on to Andorra.

Picked this awesom orca up from his home at Pond Meadow Park in Braintree Massachusetts today 3/29/08.
He looked like he could use some fresh SALTY WATER so I took hime home and he is now comfortably swimming around in my salt water reef tank. He is welcome to swim until I can take him closer to Virginia. I can see from his log he has been away from his family for a long long time and I will do what I can to get him going in the correct direction.
Until then enjoy his latest and surprisingly only his second photo!!

PS: To the owner.. if you have a special request I will have your orca for a week or so until I get to RI.

I've finally found a cache that was near a body of water (a pond) that I made a quick dash before I needed to head back to my sister's home for dinner. I wanted to make the drop before I fly back to Minnesota tomorrow morning. I thought that San Juan Willie would enjoy this spot as it was near the water, a soothing & familiar sound and he's now in the east coast, a bit closer to his destination. Hope someone will pick him up and help him on his journey. I would have taken a picture of Willie near the water but, I forgot my camera as I mentioned earlier it was quick cache hunting. Thanks for allowing me to help Willie on his journey. It was fun!.

I liked the looks of this guy. He reminded me of a cast iron whale that sat on our wood stove. That guy was our winter hand warmer. You'd pick him up and hold him for awhile on those cold, cold days, and soon you could feel your fingers again.
