I rescued this poor guy from a cache along a mountain reservoir in Colorado--a long way from the seashore (but there IS lots of water at this lake!). It will be placed in a high-traffic cache where it might be able to head east or west to the oceans.

A member of the Spoondoggle & Co. team liked this unusual coin and picked it up. We will think of a way to send it out of land-locked Colorado and back to the seashore again. Be assured it was next to water, just not salty water.
