I am the Dirty Dog tavern puzzle travel bug.

Another Goal: Be solved by 20 different people in at least 10 different states.

I gradded this one from a cache in a forest preserve (what are the odds?). When I was running back to my car (in the dark, through a field of high grass), I was imagining a cross between the velociraptor scene from Jurassic Park and a visit from Jacob Marley (with all the clanking I was making).
I'm off to Nashville next week, where I give Tennesseans a chance to add to the total. My friends and I took a couple hours to solve it.

Somebody must have missed a login, because this bug somehow got from Pennsylvania to Iowa all on its own. Be that as it may, I am now taking it somewhere south and I'll see if the southerners have a better time of solving this than I did.

Well I had to go back and get the travel bug. the geocach that I dropped it off, has been removed from geocach for some reason. so I had to go back and get it. I posted on a geocache out in montana which was a mistake. the name was similar and I thought it was it until after I posted it..
hopefully I can drop off the travel bug this weekend.

I was thinking I could edit my post btu I cant so I am rewriting it. this is my second travel bug. I not sure I can get it back to a cache in a week. there is abouty 3 inches of snow on the ground. As soon as the snow melt I will put it at a new cache. by the forecast it may take a while.
