About This Item

The Book

The goal of this logbook is to go from Oregon, to the East coast, and back to Oregon. Along it's way, I ask people to write something in the book.. poetry..storys..draw pictures... attach photos... Anything unique! When the book makes it back to me, I will scan the pages and post them for all to see!

TL;DR: We don't have the trackable (and feel sorry for you if it means it is still missing), but stumbled upon its discovery code.

The story: I discovered this trackable/coin when I cracked the cache "Msportis Coinlihaus der 2." and then was able to reverse-engineer some Coins/TBs of the owner Msporti as well. By pure chance / luck while testing out possibilities for this I also came across this TB/coin. We hope that it's okay that we discover it, if not, feel free to delete this log. TFTC/TFTT 😉

Congrats with completing the goal! I like going through these old 1-99 tbs and reading the stories I can glean from them.

Was reminded of this book/bug by another cacher today. I was very excited to have the opportunity to help this one complete it's mission. So happy in fact that I forgot to actually sign it myself. 😟 Hey!!! I was busy trying to get everyone to sign it and I wanted to be the last one, I just forgot.

fractal if you would just add my name somewhere I'd appreciate it. Or maybe cut/paste this note in there somewhere. I spend quite some time reading this book, it was like a living history of our sport. The names and places it traveled to are amazing. I'm extremely honored to have had a chance to help it to it's goal.

I actually got the book back a few weeks ago at Champoeg. Just now getting around to logging it in...

There is only one thing I can say to the MANY people that helped the book complete it's journey: THANK YOU!

I never really thought that I would ever see the book again, but as with many other situations in my life since I released the book, I've learned that anything can happen.

I have a few "projects" going on right now, but when I get time, I will scan the pages of the book and place them online for all to see.

Again, thank you all so very much!

I have sought after this Travel Bug for months and who would have guessed that I'd finally encounter it in Las Vegas! Like Mopar, I got to read and sign it at dinner after a fantastic hike up to the Warthog Down cache.Reading through the entries was like reading through a "Who's Who" of geocaching! I hope to meet up with the book again in the future!

Retrieve It from a Cache 5/1/2004 Mopar retrieved it from MM MM Good Nevada   Visit Log

Found this book (OK, it found me!) while Geo Ho and I were having dinner with some other cachers in Vegas. I might never get to meet Fractal, but at least I got to meet his book! Sorry I didn't write much in the book, too tired. Check out my log on Warthog Down to see why I was so whooped.

Since I was headed the wrong way back to New England, I didn't take the book with me.
