TL;DR: We don't have the trackable (and feel sorry for you if it means it is still missing), but stumbled upon its discovery code.

The story: I discovered this trackable/coin when I cracked the cache "Msportis Coinlihaus der 2." and then was able to reverse-engineer some Coins/TBs of the owner Msporti as well. By pure chance / luck while testing out possibilities for this I also came across this TB/coin. We hope that it's okay that we discover it, if not, feel free to delete this log. TFTC/TFTT 😉

Left Little Smokey the Bear (travel bug TB48E). He has taken over from his older brother Little Bear from the Gatineau Park, who successfully traveled to New Zealand and back. Little Smokey is taking over the tag and hopes to go to Darwin Australia and return to the Ottawa area, so I was hoping this would be a good start to his trip.

  • Little Smokey the Bear Little Smokey the Bear going into the Acadia Travel Bug Resort, soon to be on his way to Darwin Australia we hope.

Picked up Little Bear from this Cache and in the process met the delightful Alison who brought him over from Britain. Thanks Alison, we don’t only have the enjoyment of finding Caches in interesting places, we have the chance sometimes to meet other Cachers, who invariably are interesting people. It was fun to do the Cache with you and enjoy coffee and stories later.

Little Bear has now gone right around the World; including his visit to New Zealand and many other interesting places and now deserves a rest. His younger brother will take over the Tag and hopes to go to Darwin Australia where his keepers have fond memories. We will be placing his brother in a new cache soon and the travels will continue.😁

Little Black Bear travelled with me to Montreal on Flight BA 095 from Heathrow to Montreal on Wednesday 12 September 2007. He stayed with me in the Double Tree hotel until we met up with his owners Harry and Pauline. Together we travelled over to Ile St Helene to place Little Black Bear in a cache. It was great to meet Harry and Pauline and they were the perfect hosts; after the cache we found a nice place for a coffee in St Dennis near the theatre and continued our chat. They amused me with stories of caching by canoe in Canada and the hazards of bears and I now understand why Little Black Bear wanted to travel to New Zealand. So an urban cacher meets the cachers from the wilds and yet they still have lots in common and lots to laugh about. Thanks for a great afternoon and yes, when I return to Ottawa I will certainly let you know and I will do "Rusty's Walk"!

  • Saturday afternoon and it's raining Little Bear waiting to go out geocaching... In the background you can just make out the cross on St Joseph's Oratory.
  • And it's still raining And it's still raining even when we look out of the other window of my hotel room.
  • On Top of the Cache Little Bear is finally back into a cache in Canada after a most amazing journey. Well done Little Bear! I hope Little Smokey the Bear has as much fun and returns home safely one day!

One of the oldest bugs I have ever found. Excellent to see it still moving about.
