As long as I was out here for the multicache over by the TJ, I figured that I might as well get this one, as well. I was able to park close, although not in the optimal spot, but access was still easy. The previous finder replaced this in an awkward spot; when I put it back, it was in the more-usual place. Thanks for the "bonus" 😉

This was fortuitous. We'd been putting off a trip to TJ - the nearest to us is a 15-20 minute drive away - so when I went looking for a multi to grab today, I saw this one right at a TJ, so it was an easy decision to make the 30-minute (or so) drive here. Did my shopping first and got the name after putting my cart back. Decided to walk to the final, which took me several minutes. Noted that there are several empty units which had tenants the last time we were up this way. Picked the wrong side first. My cane came in handy for probing; this validated my decision to walk 🙂 Clever used of "found material" (as it were); hope this lasts. Thanks!

STF! STF! Back in the early days, when ventura_kids were really active and the true FTF hounds of the Conejo Valley, a lot of folks, including us, would take a sort of pride out of being second. It isn't quite the same thing, nowadays, for several reasons.

In any event, we were heading to Green Thumb, but made a small diversion to this cache, as we needed a multi on this date, what a surprise 😮 Made quick work of the first stage, and almost as quick work of the second. Many thanks!

When the previous finder not only sticks the cache farther back than needed, but ALSO folds the attachment such that the next person cannot grab it, thus turning a three-second process into one where stealth is nigh-unto impossible... YEAH, I'm looking at you, qbee37!!

The good thing about so many doctor appointments is that it gives us the occasional opportunity to grab a multi, as long as we need one that date, such as this date 😛 I made the first part a LOT harder than needed, but managed to figure out the final coordinates quickly once I had the basic info. See the above re: said final. I made an effort to leave things a bit easier for the next person. Thanks!

Retrieve It from a Cache 4/24/2023 chaosmanor retrieved it from University Streets: Stanford California   Visit Log

After being forestalled at Yale, and not even giving Princeton a fair try due to muggles, we wound up here, where things seemed a bit more reasonable. Once at the obvious spot, it still took a little searching, as the growth has certainly benefitted from our recent rain. It is fortunate that there were no dog-walkers and such nearby while I did what needed doing. In my haste I missed the clue: so it goes.

These have been fun and interesting puzzles to work on; thanks for keeping them going 🙂
