Mark Thompson, founder of geocacheuk.com died on 9th September 2004. This travel bug is taking part in a race in his memory. Please move the bug as quickly as possible and try to place it in a cache where it will be found quickly by another geocacher.

About This Item

This bug is in a race. Points are awarded for a combination of distance travelled and number of times moved. So even if you only move the bug a few miles, please do. Try not to leave it in caches that are visited infequently to give it a chance to move around.

The specific instructions for the race weren't written on the bug so I didn't know what it wanted to do when I picked it up. I might decide to hand it off to another geocacher tomorrow since the place I'm heading too doesn't get much traffic. Will try to help.
