The bug's goal is to visit caches with the letters J, F, or K in their names. We will keep a running total of the number of J's, F's and K's visited during the JFK Bug's travels. Cachers please predict what letter you think will have the highest total.
Totals as of 29 August 2008:
J 5
F 11
K 14
2005 - 2007
F took the early lead in 2005, and it took a whole year (until July 1, 2006) for JFK to get its first J. By the end of October 2006, K was catching up to F, with J still lagging behind.
In March 2007, K caught up to F! In April, K took the lead. In May, F tied it back up. In July, K pulled ahead again.
2008
JFK bug started 2008 with a J (its 3rd J)! JFK bug visited only 1 J cache in all of 2006, and only 1 J cache in all of 2007. In June 2008, a 4th J was achieved, but K still has a clear lead. August 2008 - another J!
2008 has been a good year for J so far, but K and F keep moving up as well.
Still lots of caches to visit, so maybe it will even out eventually?
Thanks to everyone who has moved JFK Bug - this TB has been to many interesting caches. Maybe one day we will visit them as well!
