Current Goal

It was our Fire Department's 50th anniversary in 2005. originally, the goals was:
I want to visit as many fire stations or memorials as I can and return back to the Menominee, IL area by Fire Prevention week 2005.
Obviously this is well past. How about visiting a fire station in every state, and please post pictures!!
If you have a FD patch, feel free to add one and how about posting a picture of the places you take me to visit.
Previous Firefighting experience not necessary!!!

After the last holder wrote such a nice log on my cache I wanted to make a quick stop to discover this trackable. It's the first of its type that I've seen, with so many patches attached to it. They are safely tucked away in a ziploc with a note enclosed. Very nice. I left the TB in Sarrin Rose for the next finder.

Wow! As soon as I spotted this at Geowoodstock IX, I grabbed it. What a great idea for a TB! We will be moving this along to NY and then hopefully onto NJ too. So happy that we are the first cachers to represent our home state of NY. Loved looking through all the patches that have been added and seeing where this old TB has traveled. Thanks for sharing.
