Found Lizard Leap lying on the ground at GC8149 Kancamagus, along with other contents , and the container missing. All were thoroughly soaked. Ziplock bags appeared chewed by animals and pieces of Lizard's tail and jaw were scattered. It doesn't seem an animal would have run off with the container though.
Retrieved everything to dry and be restored in a new plastic lockbox ASAP. Glued back available Lizard pieces.

Last entry in the soaked log books was 10/26/06 and says Lizard came from Nova Scotia. Log books are full.
